Bible Class

Bible Class meet in our Youth Room on Sunday mornings from 10:00am-10:45am. This is for the young people in our church in Year 8-Year 14. Bible Class is an opportunity to consider and discuss how God and faith impacts our everyday lives and the situations we face. It is also a place to make meaningful friendships within church.

Cross Factor

Cross Factor is our youth ministry for our young people in the church, aged twelve-eighteen. We meet in the informal youth room after our evening service at 8.00pm. Cross Factor is a welcoming and joyful place where our young people can come together in fellowship and have fun.

The Boys’ Brigade: Company Section

Young men aged eleven to eighteen can join our Company Section, which takes place every Thursday night from 7:30-9:45pm.

Boys take part in many competitions against other Companies in the Ards Battalion. We run a varied badge programme where the boys learn essential life skills. We also plan regular trips (including weekends away) with our Girls’ Brigade.

Boys can also work towards their President’s Badge and Queen’s Badge. Through this, our boys have the opportunity to volunteer, build upon friendships, develop teamwork skills and become young leaders.

Annual Consent forms can be found here.

For more information please contact 7th Ards BB.

The Girls’ Brigade: Seniors

Our Senior section is for girls aged eleven to thirteen.

In our Senior section we dive into Scripture, and learn what God has to say about the issues our girls face in society today. We love to discover new gifts with our friends and enjoy competitions together.

Our Senior girls also look forward to our annual weekend away where they develop teamwork skills and intentionally build upon friendships.

The Girls’ Brigade: Brigaders

The Brigaders Section is for young women aged fourteen to eighteen, and is a safe place for the girls to escape from the pressure of school and exams and enjoy time with their friends.

In our Brigaders section, we study the Word and discover how the Bible is relevant for us today. We value time and fellowship together and learn more about God’s character in a comfortable environment with friends.

This section engages in fun sporting activities such as unihoc, rugby and volleyball and participates in sporting competitions against other companies. Additionally, building upon teamwork skills, we look forward to our annual weekend away.

As the girls grow into strong young women they develop essential life skills such as leadership skills. The girls have the opportunity to become young leaders and role models and can help with younger sections within the Girls’ Brigade.
